I recently contributed this painting to the Yemisi Shylon museum at the Pan-African University in Lagos, Nigeria. It’s a visual commentary on Nigeria’s political system’s misuse of public funds. The recent scandals playing out at the national assembly through viral videos has served as confirmation of the “Illegal Shareholders” of our commonwealth. People without awareness of good governance and the application of public service see public wealth as a piece of cake to share with their dubious and equally greedy cohorts.
